The 1000kV Jindongnan-Nanyang-Jingmen ultra-high voltage transmission line is China's first pilot demonstration projects. It was completed and put into commercial use on January 6, 2009, with a total length of 640 kilometers. it is by far the world's UHV AC transmission project with the highest voltage level, the largest transmission capacity, and the most advanced technology, and it has been known as China's "Electricity Highway". This line is an important channel for the mutual supply of electricity between the north and south, and the complementarity of thermal and hydroelectric power generation, which is of great significance for environmental protection. Firstly, the coal from the north does not need to be transported south but can be generated locally through electricity transmission; Secondly, an extra-high-voltage line is equivalent to five 500kV lines, greatly saving land resources.
In September 2018, our distributed fault diagnosis system was applied to the 1000kV Jindongnan-Nanyang-Jingmen ultra-high voltage transmission line I line. The system can quickly determine the fault zone, clarify the responsibility of operation and maintenance, locate the fault point, guide emergency repair, shorten the line fault outage time, reduce the loss of transmission capacity due to fault outage, and provide a reliable guarantee for the rapid restoration of power supply after a line fault.
In the Inner Mongolia Shandong 1000kV ultra-high voltage AC transmission line, Xilang Line I and II start from Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia, pass through Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Hebei, Tianjin, and Shandong, and end at Jinan, Shandong. Double-circuit transmission lines on same tower are applied to the engineer, with a total length of more than 730 kilometers for the two circuits. It is a cross provincial transmission line. The Xilang Line project has delivered 2 million kilowatts of clean electricity from Shandong to Inner Mongolia, and increasing Shandong's capacity to accept external electricity from the province to 10 million kilowatts. At the same time, the production of the project has greatly alleviated the situation of summer power supply in Shandong Province, providing guarantees for the stable operation of the power grid during summer.
In June 2016, our transmission line distributed fault diagnosis system was applied to 1000kV Xilang Line I and II, which can quickly and accurately locate the fault point and analyze the cause of the fault, effectively improving the operation and maintenance level of transmission lines.
